Well yesterday was the much publicized EDL march in the town centre, as a result the shopping was slow to say the least. With the huge police presence and many of the roads around the main shopping areas blocked off, many retailers in the town closed for the day and boarded over windows in anticipation of trouble. I have to say we didn't see any trouble, but having said that we didn't see much of anything, the vans, horses and helicopter saw to that.
All was not lost though as the small number of customers that did come were only too happy to make a purchase, happy days. The 1st thing to go Supremebeing Dixi jacket (seen here) and Scotch & soda t shirt, bring on the summer.
